Reminders for Submitting Financial Guarantees
Per Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) Operating Standard 400.06, a Financial Guarantee or Letter of Guarantee (LOG) request must be submitted through the RAMSeS IPF in order to request pre-award spending. Continue

Temporary Gift Card Procurement Process
The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research (OVCR) and the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) are offering a temporary process to procure gift cards for study subject incentives. Continue
Reminders for Processing Subrecipient Invoices
The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) operating standard 500.11 Outgoing Subrecipent Agreements, requires that all invoices from subrecipients be reviewed and signed by the Principal Investigator for the applicable project. Continue
ERA Commons Updates for LRPS and xTrain
Beginning in February 2023, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Division of Loan Repayment introduced a new portal for research supervisors to complete the quarterly Research and Service Verification process. Continue
RAM Reports Enhancement: Updated Downloads 
RAM Reports CSV Downloads now include header information when available. Continue
SAM.gov Updated Information
The registration for SAM.gov has been updated on the OSP Information Sheet. The new expiration date is May 16, 2024.

Fiscal Year-End Dates
Finance has released the 2023 Fiscal Year-End Closing Dates and Reminders. Please take note of OSP's deadlines in order to ensure financial transactions for sponsored projects are completed in a timely manner for fiscal year-end. As certain transactions require OSP approval, please ensure your requests are submitted on or before the noted deadlines. 
Notable Deadlines
- Prepaid Card reconciliations - June 30, end of business day
- Travel (Concur reports and Web Travel) - June 12, end of business day
- Journals - June 16, end of business day
- Budget Override Requests - June 16 at Noon
- Outstanding Cash Advances - June 23, end of business day

Do not use the browser to open the form but rather access it via the Downloads folder or open Adobe Reader or Acrobat and use the application to open the file.

Updated Process for P-Card and T&E Card Applications
Payment Card Services is updating the process to apply for P-Cards and T&E Cards as well as for employees to gain Works User access. To support this change, P-Card training has been redesigned so that new P-Card applicants will only have to take one training and quiz to obtain their card. To find out more, see the March 24 memo.
Changes to Financial Transaction Approvals
Effective July 3, financial transactions will require department approval and self-approval of these transactions will be disabled. Continue
Plans for FY 2024 Budget Load Memo
The FY2024 budget load memo was sent to the Campus Unit Finance Leads last week on May 23, 2023. Because there are some noted changes this year that will also affect business managers, the memo is being distributed to the university business managers as well for their review.
